Foraging for Jigs.
Looks like this is my winter time.lol.The off season so to speak.I went through all the jig heads that I have gotten from all my crappie.com partners and these were at the bottom of my 5 gallon bucket full. They looked good to me,after the "pinmin" ordeal,Ha.These are 1/16 oz. Bananna Jigs with a size 4 hook.Painted them red and white, then tied a silicone skirt on the back.Look like pan something to me.Maybe in September it will get below a 100 again.

They look ready to fish and I do like the color :);)

I believe they'll work if the weather cools off. The only way I can fish now is getting on the water at first daylight and fishing till about 9:00.

Those will work year round. You can get ready made "Banana" jigs in the 1/64 and 1/80 sizes from Rod Building Supplies | Lure Making Supplies | Fly Tying Supplies | Fishing Hooks
Time to go fish my friend. You may have to go at 3 am to avoid the heat. Have fun.
