woods 7/3

my grandson and i got on the water this morning at 6:45,it was a nice morning to be on the water.we got to our first hole,austen had a crappie in the boat before i could get a pole baited.it was a throwback but he loved every minute of it just the same.he had 3 fish caught before i got a bite,he thought that was funny,out fishing big man,then the tables turned and i caught up with him.in all we had only 2 keepers and about 7 throwbacks,then the stripe moved in and he had a ball catching those pesky bait stealers.a grand day spent with my grandson.we just left a family bbq and fireworks display,and lil'man sure looked tired when they left.i'm sure we will both sleep good tonight.:)

Sounds like a great day. 28 yrs with the Wife today, didn't even get the boat uncovered. We had a good day too.
