Smithville 6/30

Got off of work Wednesday morning and it was so nice out I couldn't stand it. Went home, hooked up the boat and headed to the lake. The fish seemed to like it too. Caught around 40 fish with only had 5 keepers but I was out more to just catch fish. Fished around the mouth of Rock Cove, fish were in 24-28 fow around 12 ft down. Black/chart tube with an orange/black 1/16 jighead worked the best. Had a lot of throwbacks just under the 9 inch size limit. All in all a great morning.

Great weather..was 56 yesterday and 57 today when I got up..going to try it fri. morning if I get everything done today.
