deep cycle marine battery in car?

Daughters car needs a new battery and can't get one till the weekend.I put the trolling battery in last night and it fired right up(little 4 cl.motor)..any reason any harm will be done driving 30 m
iles a day till the weekend?

Cook, I checked with the techs here and they all said should cause no problems, but don't leave it in very long.

Thanks-its going to be replaced in about 48 hours

Gotta luv having such an array of Pros here! I wondered about the battery thing, only cause I don't have a charger and I am getting a Marine deep cycle for the trolling motor and wondered if it would be bad to put it in my truck to charge it.

at fall camp if you are coming or spring camp I got an old one but works good I will give you..........:)

Neighbor said he has had one in his farm tractor for several years and it's still going strong!
