As of this writing, Mr. Charlie Cantrell, is at the Medical Center fighting for his life. He has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. The prognosis is not good, they expect him to slip into a coma in the next couple of days and his passing is expected in a couple of weeks. Georgia Slab Masters asks that everyone please remember him and his family.
Very sad news. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Mr. Charlie is one the best fisherman in the United States and that is a is fact,he has all the hardware to prove it, but more than all that he is a very humble and caring person, he would help anybody whether it be fishing or whatever. He will be sorely missed by all of us who have had the priveledge to enjoy his company, I don't think he ever met a stranger, wish you all could meet this fine person. I will pray for a miracle, please help me with that. And also I want and ask the Lord to bless all of us here on C.C. Amen !!! Tony

Jamie just left the Medical Center, in Macon, Mr. Charlie has been sent home to be with his family.
I am so sorry and saddened by this news. Mr Charlis is one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We will be praying for him and his family.
