broke my transducer :(

i went to the lake yesterday and got out there and ended up tryin to adjust my transducer by hand and ended up breaking it off it broke at the base of the little plastic bracket where the bracket and the transducer meet please tell me its a quick, cheap and easy fix my transducer goes to a lowrance X37 tx and im fishing a bass tracker P.T.170tx
just got my transducer pulled off and didnt relize it was that much wire ran on a boat hopefully BPS has a replacement that wont cost me an arm and leg

Can you post a picture of it so we can see exactly how and where it is broke?

crappie josh BPS hyas brackets to fix and protect called transducers shields,onpage 468 They work great. Even if you buy a new transducer you will still have the same problem .Cost about half what a new transfucer cost They work and prevent future damage. Hope this helps.

i found a new transducer at BPS for 57.99 think i might buy it on payday if the wife says ok she is the one that pays the bills lol i just bring home the money and fish :)

well got my new transducer ran yesterday night and so all i have to do today is get a pair of wire strippers and finish wiring it in and then ill be good to go for in the morning... now just have to remember where i unhooked it from and what wires go where
