I lived down there for 3 years a while back, so nothing recent, but this time of year the trout and reds should be good! Try the grass flats north of the inlet for trout, and the coves just south of the inlet for reds. Gold spoons and Exude RT slugs for the reds, or topwaters in the mornings on the flats for both. There is a canal just north of the inlet that runs deep, and I've always done good on big trout, tarpon and snook in and around it on live mullet or "whitebait" if you can get some. The inlet is always producing something during the tide changes--flounder, reds, tarpon, snook or even just big jacks and ladyfish will slam baits during the moving tide. Good luck!
Also, if you are staying at the inlet at the campground, about a mile or so north of the inlet on A1A there is a baitshop with a diner next to it. Gotta go there for breakfast, it is awesome and very large portions.
