Martha Whites Hushpuppy Mix
Add one bag of Martha Whites Hushpuppy Mix (can get it at Super Wallmart)
Add the same amount of flour as what was in the bag (or close to it)
Add 6 tablespoons of salt, 3 tablespoons of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon chenneyne pepper, and 2 tablespoons of onoin powder
Mix all together in gallon bag, add crappie chunks or fillets. Shake and take out crappie and fry at 350.

Something I have started doing that has gone over well with everyone that has eaten my fish. Rather than adding the spices in with whatever breading you use, I use the basic cornmeal with some flour mixed in, put the spices on the chunks or fillets before coating with the breading mixture. This way all the fish gets the spices. Works for me!!!..try it

Try the Bass Pro mix sometime. I really like the light'n'krispy the best. There is no other way I'll eat fish.

I usually add some ground frosted flakes in with the corn meal and flour mixture. Makes it kind of sweet and crunchy.

House Autry Seafood Breader- I personally don't think you can find one better.

I like to use Andes red seasoning mixed with Tones Cajun Seasoning. Gives a great flavor. I will also add more Cayenne pepper sometimes when I'm feeling like some heat.
