Need short hair ???

I want to buy some hair for my jigs.
I like the Bucktails hair but I am wasting A LOT of it. After cutting the short pieces that i want the left over hair on the tail won't work for what I want to do.
SO... I have all these left over Bucktails with haircut stubbie ends sitting around.

I just want the hair to be 1” to 1 1/2”, maybe even 2” long at most.
What sould I look at rather than Bucktails which seem to have hair 2-4” long??

Try looking at kiptails or calftails...they are in the range you are talking about and you can find them in every color in the world...check out crazy angler on here...he has some good ones...I hope this helps...Good Fishin'..

Didn't think of it different until you said that and then it opened a bunch of thoughts.

You can also try Calf Body Hair if you dont' want to deal with the tails. With the bucktails have you tried using a Hair Stacker to use more hair off the bucktails??? Just something else to consider
