y'all know how I should remove a lowrance transducer that was epoxyed onto the hull at the factory? I hate leaving it there, I want to sell the X135 units after I insatll my new Humminbird stuff.

y'all know how I should remove a lowrance transducer that was epoxyed onto the hull at the factory? I hate leaving it there, I want to sell the X135 units after I insatll my new Humminbird stuff.
I believe I would just leave it there. You would probably have to destroy the transducer to remove it anyway as it would probably have to either be cut or ground off and you might damage the hull in the process.
I'm gonna sleep on it, but I do think I will just leave it in there. Unless one of y'all come up with a better plan>>>>>>>>>
I dont know how to remove one from a hull but I seem to have a knack for removing mine from my trollin motor.
Only way is if you have enough clearance to smack it solidly with a hammer. A big hammer preferably. The impact will crack the epoxy. No worries about damaging the hull though. The tough part is cleaning up the area for the next install. chances ate, the diver is toast. But sometimes you get lucky.

All jokes aside a flat chisle and hammer should do the trick, Ive used a screw driver/hammer combo before and worked great
