I was down there the day they closed the lake... was wishin the TVA would drop it a bit faster, but I guess they couldn't.. still had a good trip even though it was a couple days shortened:)
I was thinking the same way. We all crabbed about the water but maybe they know what they are doing....altho closing the lake was over the top in my opinion.Quote:

Plus, the release of the water is coordinated with the Corp of Engineers. The people downstream of the release has to be considered also. It truly is a joint effort.
