Can't help ya on Cheap, but I noticed the new Z boats from Nitro have nice drop in storage in the rear compartments. Didn't notice the lip exactly, but if you might could take a look at 'em and see if they'd work, then you could buy them from a dealer as replacements for a Z. Course, they'd prolly cost about $300 each going that route. :)

Bigger, I saw something in a BPS flier in the last couple of days about that. I'm sure it would be on their web site. I'll go look.
Check out Great Lakes Skipper dot Com. Look under Deck and Dock, Misc from the menu to the right. They have some odd stuff at good prices, but beware, stuff is sold as is, I believe.
I'm surprised Wannabe has made a trip up there yet.
I've bought from great lakes 4 or 5 times. Slow ship, like a week, but other than that, I've been happy with em.

Bigger, Most of the time if your adding a drop in storage compartment.....you will find that there is foam flotation under the deck where your wanting to install it. If so you will have to cut out enough foam to make room for the compartment thus losing some of your floatation. I was going to add two to my boat but decided against it for that reason. Just something to think about.
That foam is gonna have to go!!!
Get you a pair of igloo 48 quart coolers and a tube of F26 and just glue 'em to the back deck. Presto. Hunnert bucks and you're in bidness, plus no crouching over.
You're welcome.

if you're telling him to do that. Just sayin LOL
Well, I would give him the 27 links I have to aftermarket storage, but I'm still hacked about him ditching me for lunch yesterday.
