Fishing and Boating - Fishing in Lake Bennett offers a variety of species including bass, crappie, bream and catfish. In order to maintain the delicate balance of nature in the lake, power boating is restricted to electric motors. These are available for rent at the Snack Bar/Office Building along with flatbottom fishing boats, canoes and pedal boats. The calm waters of Lake Bennett provide an ideal atmosphere for fun boating in canoes and pedal boats. A free launch ramp is available for visitors who own their own boats.

I work with a lady who camps there quite often. She and her husband love it. Will check with her on the fishing when I get back to the office Monday and let you know about the fishing on Lake Bennett as both enjoy fishing. You could just cheat, leave your poles at homeand go with Darryl and just killem.
Flyrod you are in trouble if your wanting to fish Lake Bennett. My co worker just told me that the lake there was COMPLETELY dry 3 months ago and it hasnt rained since. She said campers were using the brushpiles for firewood. Book a trip with Darryl he has water and fish. Lots of both.
The lake is rather small and you will pull most of your crappie out by the damn. I went there the other day to do some fishing and my lord the water was like 8-10 foot low for the year and it was soo muddy you couldn't even get to the water to fish.
