I hope you will share your discovery. I really never use a foot pedal, but like the idea of being able to use it if the I-Pilot fails. I fish a lot of electric only lakes, and I'd be in a pinch if the I-Pilot quits on me.
There is already a solution for this problem...buy a Terrova! ;)
