I stayed on the porch pouring bullets. I did walk out and took some pictures of the garden. I did watch some news, it was bad down south, Yazoo City.
Local news showed a car hit with a tree in memphis and flooded roads.
I'm on a hill, so somethings don't bother me, but I'm in the Memphis Airport landing path. A lot of trees are dying around me.
I live in Choctaw county & the Tornado passed about 1 mile north of my house. Just east of me 2 adults & 3 children lost their lives. There is a lot of damage here in the county. It started in the SW corner and went to the NE corner. From the damage it was at least EF 3 tornado with about a 500' -600' wide path. I was tracking the storm on radar the whole time and from the NWS track it took a skip to the north a little just prior to hitting the county line. I have never been that close to a tornado & never want to again. I don't get scared easily but this had my pucker factor real high. As it was passing through there was a fog bank that formed & moving toward the storm. I mean like almost 0 visibility the fog was so thick. That was eerie seeing all that plus the sound. To me it sounded like a continous thunder & a freight train. The wife & I were in the closet praying the whole time after we heard it coming. The Lord was watching out over us yesterday is all I can say. I ask for prayers for the families that were impacted by this terrble storm.
Glad you and yours made it ok
prayers sent to all down there
