Weird. One of the links below show's the blunt end, the other link, it really doesn't show. I would think the blunting would help in giving you some width at the leading edge though, rather than pinching it to a point that shaves inches off the width.

Guess it just doesn't show from the angle. One thing's for sure. With the name Ranger, it ain't gonna be what you call "cheap".
Wannabe...
Very true on the "cheap". However with that blunt nose I would think it would lead to a rough and wet ride on big water like the Rez
Looks to me that it would make for a drier ride and toss the spray further away from you while driving. Plus gives you more foot room for fishing on the very front of boat. Just my thoughts. They must be gonna pay you good in Alabama if you thinking Ranger!!
I really like the looks of the front end. Good looking boat for sure.
That's the problem Kenny they ain't gonna pay that great lol. Grandad boat was a stick steer avenger and it had q blunt bow and that is one wet ride on Barnett
Looks like a "throwback" to the oldschool original Ranger boat. Note the oldschool Ranger logo on the side. Good lookin for sure.
I used to own a Ranger 361v and it was a great boat.
I hear ya....It may be a wet ride...Id ask the dealer his opinion on what the deal is with that wide front end and what the purpose for it is before I bought it.
I would go for a used stratos that way you would have a TON of money left for all new holders, wireless TM, rods, reels, double seats, etc etc etc...Since I went Stratos I wish I had done it 10 years ago now!!!
Pointy nose or not, it's still a sit in floor, kick your gear off the deck that's too high, multi-level floor bass boat. Not that I'm critical or anything but I fish out of one and know all the drawbacks of crappie fishing (primarily trolling) out of a rig designed for bassers.
