HDS basemaps/insight question

Am I correct in that what comes preloaded on the HDS units they call "enhanced base maps" actually shows contour lines down to 1' on most US lakes and that the Insight shows 3d and all the "fancy" stuff? Or is the basemap just an outline of the lake and no contour lines and the Insight shows the contour lines and the 3d images.

Option 2 in what you said is correct. I have the lake insight, and it shows contour lines, river channel in dark blue, and shows creeks and water depths all over. No 3d stuff though.
