I have to mention what we have all seen. Another cold front over the weekend. I was heading down to KY Lake on Blood River this weekend but canceled the trip and moved it till next weekend. The positive is I get to turkey hunt this weekend. The first week of May I get to go down for a week and hit the crapie and gills. Hopefully I will bag a bird since I wont be adding any crappie to the freezer this weekend.
Well we will be back to normal temps for this time of year. We are still heading to Blood River and are hoping the weather wont effect them to much. I think it will be a liitle slow on Saturday and Sunday but they should come back on the beds the 1st part of the week. Good luck turkey hunting the should be gobbling and strutting.
Doesn't look like the weather next weekend will be much better. Lots of rain with another front pushing in.
I hope the cold front slows the crappie down some....
This heat wave has risen the water temps too fast IMO...
