Conway area advice.

I'm taking a disabled buddy of mine fishing Saturday. I'd like to get him on a litttle crappie action. I've been going out to Lake Conway but it's been hit or miss around the Gold Creek area that I usually go to. Also heard about some folks doing ok on Beaverfork. Would appreciate any advice on location and bait that have been working good for you. Not asking for any of your secret spots or anything :D, just somewhere to have a good chance at some fillet size crappie. Thanks!

I have 30+ years on Conway, and the only thing i can tell you is that this time of year, they are aroung the cypress trees and i also have a good luck Floating minnows under a cork at about 8' deep in the middle of D trail And E trail. Hope this helps you out some.
