Getting in some practice

The Wille Bee is still about 3-4 weeks away from hitting the water, but that gives me a chance to get out fishing and try some new places. I got a ride on Blue Thunder the other day to test the brown trout action off of Two Rivers, we got a leisure start around 8:30 in the morning and dropped just 4 poles in the water and ran along the shoreline going 3 for 5 on brown trout.
Just wanted to see if we could get a few to bite. The commercial smelt harvest has been very good so far so the fish are being well feed. I'll have to check in the walleyes and whitebass soon.
