Hello all, I am new to the crappie fishing. I got hooked on it a couple weeks ago by a coworker. I caught a nice one on second cast useing a minnow. But that was it for the day.. Last weekend I hit the river behind my house and just tore them up. I was catching fish after fish. It was alot of fun. I have been fishing all my life mostly cats. Last 5 years been flyfishing the Wyoming and colorado waters. Now we are here in Tennessee enjoying the crappie. What else is good for crappie besides live minnows? I would like some helpful hints from all.
