Drop shot for crappie?

Would this technique work? Anybody ever tried this with a crappie tube?

My dad uses it sometimes when he's fishing with 2 jigs. Easier way to not get your stuff all tangled up.

My brother and i use a drop shot rig for crappie all the time. We usually use minnows instead of a tube. It works very well!

use this method all winter works great
