I saw the pics of gators on the Rez and it reminded me of a Sardis Lake story...

I talked to a guy that has some property on the east side of Hwy 7 up close to the tallahatchie river, up around Graham boat ramp. He swears that there have been gators spotted out in the Ducks Unlimited Refuge property. Which got me to thinking about how much I like to wade fish....Has anyone ever heard of this or is this fellar drinking too much?

I'm sure there have been at times. I heard of one in the coldwater river around Arkabutla many years ago, never saw one though. Doubt if one could survive the cold we had this winter.

Couple months ago we were breaking ice to get on the rez. Didn't seem to bother these gators.:rolleyes:
