caught a few

On my first look I thought several were white crappie males getting darker from getting ready for the spawn, but when I actually paid attention, it looks like they're black crappie, so I'm really curious where you caught them.

I caught them at craighead forest lake in jonesboro.2 were males and 3 were females.3 were full of eggs.

I have never fished craighead before. Do they have a bunch of brush piles sunk or structure over there?

There are several brush pile in the coves.
