Ill be headed to Kentucky Lake next week and need some pointers on packing fish home.
Ill be there for 3 days and my plan was to fillet my catch every night, date a ziplock bag and put the fillets in it and pack on ice.
If checked my a conservationest will that be legal as long as ther are dated.
Ill be fishing in the TN portion of the lake. So I will abide by the TN regulations and limits.

Hey Manny, I looked on Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlfe Resources and couldn't locate anything specific. I emailed them about it for my information also. Their ph number is 800-858-1549, maybe you can get an answer there.

Not sure about the legalities of labeling/transporting/possession limits, etc. Would have to check it out as you are doing. When we go to Mississippi, we keep our fish in ice water until we clean them (daily), flash freeze the filets in our cabin then vacuum seal them and keep them in a 5 cu. ft. freezer that we take with us. When we get ready to head for home, we leave the frozen filets in the freezer and they are still frozen when we get home....10 hours later! Good luck.......Keep your jig wet!!
In KY once fish are processed they do not count against any limit.
