Sure. We need to get ahold of Chris! We are you Chris?
Im in. I can make my donations to the tournaments(entry fees). lol Because I am pretty sure I wont be bringing in any of the winnings
I would like to try and fish tourneys with ya'll if time and money will alow. Also like the idea of fishing different lakes although I haven't got any one lake figured out yet. lol
I would fish some and there are a couple other guys here in Batesville that would fish.
It has been a few years since this subject has been discussed. Chris (CEB) and Gooch stepped up to try to get us all meeting for a while. Problem is, these type of clubs takes a lot of dedication from just a few people. I would love to be in a fishing club. But, I barely have the time to go fishing much less time to didicate to organizing a bunch of fishermen.
BTW
I was the last president of the local Propeller Club. No one else would step up to be the president for the last 3 years of it's existance. Kind of gave me a bad taste for organizing this stuff my self.
DP
DP is right about the time and energy required to build and maintain an organized club.
I'll throw out this idea though. Why not consider doing some club style tourneys with the folks here on the site and see if the concept can get some traction. That would let the folks that would like to participate have a chance to meet and fish and share thoughts on how to organize moving foward. Rotate around to different places and maybe do 3 or 4 of these before anyone has to make a time and financial committment. Also provides the opportunity to invite friends not on here which would hopefully lead to a little larger member base coming out of the gates. Just some food for thought...
I would love to make a donation as well as the general.
Count me in! And I'll do whatever I can to help.
Arkansas Crappie Club (ACC) sounds good already. Count me in if the meetings are held to once per month and membership fees are annual and reasonable.
So, who's stepping up to take the lead?
