I have a new HB 898. There are three presets and I was wondering which views you'd suggest putting into those presets. Right now I have the Sonar/Map view, SI/Map view, and SI/DI/Sonar view.

Chart/Sonar
Snapshot/Recording
Using the Snapshot/Recording as my third preset allows me to get to the recording button in less clicks....
I don't knows how you fellers keep up with this stuff. Seems like my button settings are always changing.:o
I have the same settings cept I have the first two swapped. These seem to be the most used for me and then I use view and exit to get to others close by to each.Quote:

Lots of views in this machine that I would rarely use...
Keeping them hidden allows me to, also, use the view and exit buttons (along with the 3 presets) to get to the screens that I use the most....very quickly...
RNvinc How many chart views do you have? will a navionics card work on all chart views. If you have only one chart view will you be able to navigate and still use navionics from same chart view.

As far as I can tell the Navionics card works no matter how many there is in visable in the views....
