Tims Today

Fished rock creek today, water temps were near 56 degrees. Caught 3 short specks, 3 stripe and 2 bluegill. Used minnows and shinny hinee jigs. Talked to several others who had about the same luck. I did manage to loose my christmas present rod from my daughter gave me, up near the old estill dam. Hopefully things will get better, I have just about lost confidence in Tims. I fished every boat dock and wood up and down rock creek, just couldnt find any fish.

Do not feel bad about that. At least you caught something. That lake has always been tough for me for crappie. I can catch a carp or two there and maybe a striper but not my #1 choice for crappie in the area.
