I have a 997 and got a few questions about taking snapshots. Does it matter which slot it goes into. Can you take a snapshot in any view by just hitting the mark button as long as the snapshot is turned on in the accessories menu. Is there more to it than this.

Either slot will work, and yes turn on screen snapshot and you can hit mark, usually if you want a screen snapshot its cause your looking at something in the sonar.
Right. Its that easy Wilbur and will make a picture of anything you have on the screen at that time. Which is why I will warn you that if you have a menu open at that time it will show up as well! I tend to forget that fairly often and end up with a picture of a menu… :o
