Kudos to Paul Rister
Paul, thank you so much for being a part of this forum. Your presence here gives us a voice in matters that we might not have otherwise. Sure, there will always be differences of opinions among any group but you being stand-up enough to put the KY F&W expertise into the discussions makes it all the better. You should also get a good feel for what is really going on around the big lakes both fishing wise and issue wise. I, for one, welcome and appreciate your poking around from time to time.

Thanks, but I feel it is important for us (biologists) who are being paid to manage the fisheries, do are best to get what we are learning, out to the anglers. Everyone has opinions and preceptions, I will try to reply when I can with our educated opinion based on the fish studies we do. They are hopfully more right than wrong, but just like fishing, about the time we think we have a populaiton figuared out, it changes. But we welcome anglers opinions, sometimes we can learn from them. Some anglers are on the water alot more than we are.
As the weather warms and dries up, I spend less time in the office. So, if an issue comes up on this forum that someone thinks I need to address, someone email me to visit this site to read what is going on.

Very cool. Sounds like you take pride in what you do. Thanks for that. We don't get that in Illinois.
