Well, $114.34 later from Lakeland yard and Garden
and I have MOST of the plants for the garden 6 Better boy Maters, 2 Big Boys and 2 heirloom Maters. Then 6 Yellow and 6 Zucinni Squash but they all had atleast 2 plants in each box so double that ammount. Then we get into peppers, 6 Jalapeno's, 4 Sweet Bananna, 4 Red Bell, 2 Orange Bell and 2 Yellow Bells. Then a few herbs like Basil and Flat leaf Parsley. Couple more things I can't remember but got most of the stuff cept Okra and Habenero's that I'll get when I find them. WAHOOO, ready to plant but got to wait about 2 more weeks
Gonna be tough just to get mine done and
it's only 12 x 50. What you stake yo Maters with Sat? I bought some 6x6x6 wire mesh and cut it at 6 feet. Then I crimped the wire together and cut off the bottom ring so I'd have something to stick in the ground. Works great and is about 18 inches wide and 6 foot tall. Got 10 of them made up. Ready for me some fried green Maters and Fried Yellow Squash
I found out quick that those little
Wire cones ain't with a hill of beans. Cheap yeh but what I built and it's the same thing you did, will last several years
I'll get a pic of the one's I built
they SHOULD last me 9 or 10 years. I will have me some Okra but it's abit early for it. Won;t plant that until late april or the first of May. I ran the soil test on a spot last night. PH is just abit high at 7.5 but that's in tollerance. I know now why I didn't have much of a garden last year. NO NITROGEN. It bearly turned the water in the test tube any color at all. Plenty of Phosphorous and way to high in Potassium. Got to correct that before I plant
