Rough River Crappie

Went to Rough River yesterday for a little bit. Had nothing ready, first time out. Didn't know if the boat was going to fire. By the time we got to the lake after getting everything ready, it was 2:00. We fished till about dark and caught probably 40 plus crappie, but only manged 14 keepers. Not too bad of a trip after the cold front, but right now their are a lot of small fish being caught. Water temp was 49 degrees in North Fork.

Nice Crappie, I have been catching a lot here on KY Lake.

I caught 22 this morning, and I am going out again this weekend

Fished Rough yesterday and had similar results. Caught a few keepers but several small ones, and I do mean SMALL ones.

WAY TO GO! Hard to get the wife to go with. Mine doesn't care for long trips...just 2 hours or so....THATS GETTIN STARTED!!!
