Anybody know why TVA and Hancock Biological Station report substantially different levels for the lake?
Today's TVA level at 7:00 am-354.76
Today's Hancock level at 7:01 am-353.38
Wonder which one is correct, or closer than the other?

I'll just tell ya. I'm an ol'Riverman and I know what 354 looks like & I don't believe the TVA stage. With that said... TVA is a government agency and is suposed to give reliable river stages for navigation purposes. I'm torn. The bottom is close to the top though!Quote:
