Lodging around Blackshear

I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on lodging around Blackshear other that staying right at the lake. My Dad is comming in for our yearly fishing trip on the 22nd, and this year we wanted to fish Lake Blackshear instead of Talquin. It will be our first trip there and would appreciate the help, we know almost nothing about the lake except what I read here. Thanks!

there is several motels in cordeel . that is onley about 10 miles away .
the lodge onthe lake is nice but expensive .

The Ramada Inn in Cordele is reasonable and they have parking to accomodate boats.

Thanks for the info. We will probably stay there. Just wish we could get there for the weekend. Hope y'all catch a mess at the slab fest.
