Don’t know about you, but Sunday’s and Monday’s weather conditions inspired me to get out and enjoy being warm without a jacket and doing something I consider productive.
Of course my definition of productivity and my wife’s are not the same. Mine included:
1- Satisfying my curiosity about whether or not striped bass had already moved onto my No. 1 hot spot in deep water on the main lake at Barnett Reservoir. We went, and they had not. Darn. However, I did get some good information about stripes in the upper river area. That’s where they are supposed to be and I can’t wait for another chance to get up there.
2. Getting out to Lena to do a story on a wood boat builder, Charlie Reeves at Cedar Hill Boats. Been waiting for a nice day to a feature on this nice guy and we hit it perfectly. Read about it Sunday in The Clarion-Ledger.
As for my wife’s definition, the yard still needs picking up, the garage still needs organizing and …
