Some Newbie Flies

nice-looking jigs.nothing wrong with your tying you are doing a good job for a beginner keep practicing you've got the basics down perfect keep up the good work

Your stuff looks well made, nice clean ties. One caution for you though is that without the weight of a lead head to keep things running straight, you have to consider how your material will affect your flies. It can make your flies run upside-down or make them spin and cause headaches with line twist. On the 2nd pic, the rubber legs up near the hook eye may make in spin. With how you have the bead chain and eye turned, those should run with the hook point up, which I like to do to help avoid snags and weeds. You just have to think about all the weight involved and resistance they make in the water. You should check out FAOL and at least look through their fly patterns, you will get lots of ideas.
Don't get me wrong, those WILL catch fish!!! Hope I did not offend you, just trying to help you with the details, because those patterns will work. Getting them out in the water and actually seeing what they do will tell you alot. Good luck!
