got a couple of questions for you
1) does the lake have the red and green channel markers so you know where you can run, and
2)what is the best way to get to the graysport/youngs landing ramp
#1) Sure do Triton, but you want to stay away from either color. The red ones is red where folks misjudged and "splat". The green ones is green on account of folks misjudging and Torching their pants with the near miss.
#2) Take Hwy 8E to Gore Springs - flashing yellow light, turn left and cross graysport crossing...then there's a right, and another right and follow it around to the ramp. Unless you take the first right, then you turn left at North Graysport, gravel up and down then you turn right and follow it around to the ramp.
You're welcome.

LOL channel markers are for sissies.... Every once in a while you'll find a 4 year old trot line still marking the river....if you get lucky. BTW, kinda stumpy up there so look out.
man i can't wait to get you yahoos on the rez
He hunts Stumps
there is something that just gives me the willies when I think about hitting stumps at 65 mph. I was hoping there would be some kind of markings at least on the river channels...yes I am a sissiy Patrick...stumps hurt and I already gots one bad appendage
one on Stump dodging and the other on advanced boat dodging with an emphasis on Jet Ski's. I've been on Grenada, Sardis and Enid in the middle of the summer and they are no where CLOSE to what we have. There's maybe a 10th of the boats on any of those lakes as it is on RB
How to Navigate the "S" curve without getting killed. Sucker still scares me and I've been boating on the rez for 10 years
i am going to hate to idle all over that big sucker. you would think the COE would put some markers up
When I lived in Madison and fished the rez, I used to think the S curve was named for it's shape. After having run it and looking way off the port side wondering what that channel maker is doing way off there by itself, I now know it's not named for it's shape, it's the first letter of the word that comes right after you realize that channel marker ain't over there by itself.
