Anybody know of a good reel repair shop around Memphrica? I tried to take one of my Okumas apart to let some water out of it and now the counter doesn't work. I'm sure I didn't get one of gear thingy's lined up properly or something.:(

Someone on the board is a reel repairman or was last year, surely they will holler in a little.
I know of one in south ms, but you'd have to ship. Know another in va that's good too.
Wannabe...
The best I can remember there were 2 on here last year that were working on a line counter reel. I think their names are billbob and rip a lip.:D

They are 24 friggin dollars...get a new one!
I know that's why I need somewhere local that can hook me for a $10 spot. It still works perfect as a normal reel but without the linecounter feature it's a just a parts reel to me.
If I'm going to pay shipping then it's going to be for shipping that will have a new one headed my way.
save it till camp rip and me will work on it
Yikes, I think one of the guys at BPS in memphis is a reel repair guy.
I vote for letting Billbob work on it!!
