I-Pilot question
Have been looking @Terrova w/ I-Pilot as an update to my boat but recently found out that with I-Pilot there is no foot control. While I really like the features for spiderrigging & longlining isn't not having a foot control a hindrance working a row of docks either pitching or shooting a problem? Before puttin g down the cash I would like to hear any thoughts, pro or con, from presnt I-Pilots owners. Thanks, in advance , for your time & input

The Terrova does come with a foot control and you can use it in conjuction with the I-pilot or put it in the storage box. I have had mine about a week now and my foot control is not working right. I also like it in certain situations. The spot lock is my favorite function. Today I played with the track record. I followed a bank staying about 50 feet away from it for a couple hundred yards. I ended the track and hit track to start and it worked perfectly. Then I hit track to end and it performed again. A strong gust of wind knocked me off course and it corrected perfectly. I am not sure I have the cruise control figured out yet. I am going to contact them about my foot control. Hope I helped.

Terrova with i-Pilot should come with a pedal, as the pedal retains full functionality with Terrova.
PowerDrive V2, when it comes pre-rigged with an i-Pilot, will not come with a pedal (as I understand it), as the PowerDrive V2's pedal no longer works when i-Pilot is installed.

I purchased the Power Drive V2 today and had the folks at BPS find the answer about foot pedal. If an I-Pilot is added to the Power Drive, you cannot have a foot pedal. However, on the Terrova you can have both foot pedal and I-Pilot.
