unknown territory......any help would be appreciated

I guess I could have just googled this, but want to get some "expert" advise.
Corks.....I hate 'em, but have been convinced to never limit myself.
If I ever use one, it's usually a slip fishing deep.
I think I want to try a float this spring like others. I mostly fish cypress trees here in Louisiana during the spawn and sometimes I get impatient.
Anyways, I remember watching a youtube video a bit back and the guy was using what he called an "ice bobber"...looked really simplistic. All he did was squeeze it to move it up and down. Thats look more than convenient enough for me to try and would like to get suggestions on where to find them and what size to look for to fish 1/32 & 1/16.......and maybe even 1/8ths.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated.

The only ice bobber i ever used was this Today's Tackle - Tackle So Advanced It's Easy

I have used small styrofoam floats in the past icefishing. They come in various sizes. The floats have a slit from top to bottom that your line slips through. It is held in place by a small toothpick looking wedge. Not great fishing deep but great for 5ft and under because it isn't a slip. Hope this helps.

The best crappie bobber I have found is the Thill Shy Bite BB1 or BB2 it is not a slip bobber but works great in shallower water. Use with a 1/32oz or 1/64oz jig these bobbers are so sensitive a 1/16oz jig will take it under. and if a fish hits it upward it will tip the bobber down on its side.
