Spraying Powder Paint
I tried using the air gun method with a kit from TJ tackle. It started to work and I did several jigs with it. Now cannot get paint to come out. Checked for pluggage , used new paint . several different little compressors.
What could I be doing wrong ? I feel air coming out just no paint. Looking inside the pickup tube inside the jar the paint doesn't even try to get into tube and out gun.

Don't know if this even works with powder paint, but put your finger over the nozzle and blow back into the jar. Then try it.

Were you using black paint when this happened?

Are you getting moisture thru the air line? Its best to use a toilet paper cartridge type moisture filter. They are available thru auto paint stores, but they cost about $90

you've got too much paint in the jar"fill half way to maybe a third full ,and try it again".First mistake i made w/ mine.not enough vacuum being made.;)

GF67- I will try that . Worked with it again today and got nowhere. jar is not anywhere near full now. But I am getting desperate to try anything. Am I correct in assuming as the air passes thru the gun it creates suction thru the pickup tube.
only thing I ever worked on similar to this was a powdered limestone injector. It controlled the Ph in a reaction tank. Lots bigger in scale but same principle if I'm right about how the suction is developed.

Tried with less than a third full still no spray.

Time to take that thing apart and see how it works!
Evidently you have blockage somewhere.
I asked if you were using the color black when it stopped working because black pp is the worst color to absorb moisture and clump.
Did your sprayer come with cleaning instructions?
