My brother is having trouble with a HB 565 mounted to the transducer not showing fish when everyone else's finder around him does. He has it mounted on MinnKota Maxxum TM. When the propeller is not turning, it shows fish and works fine. When it is, the screen goes to showing black lines and NO FISH... Do we need to make adjustments to the settings? He needs help with this issue. Thanks
Sounds like interference from the TM.
Yea thats what I'm thinking... Is there a solution?
HB has a kit for that
Call HB customer service explain to them the interference and what kind of troller what kind of FF U got they have kits to block most of that interference probably sent out to U free.Quote:

I called HB about the same problem on Monday and had the free kit on Wednesday. The kit has alot of good components and covers every angle that the interference could be coming from(that I can think of).
Humminbird HAS customer service. Ain't no doubt! I'm using them now and they are awesome! :D
I will buy nothing but Humminbird and Minn Kota products. They have done me right. There customer service and employees are great!!!
