Does Anyone Know Where I Can Get A Depth Map Of Horseshoe Lake.and Can You Fish Porter Lake And How Good Is It.
there are some old topo maps out there that you might get lucky and find. Bond's may have a few. The agfc site has a map, but I don't think it will be as detailed as you would want. Porter lake, or the old dollar hole as we call it is private. It is owned by the Mcgee planting company family. If you know the right person to contact, you might get lucky. It has monster crappie and bass in it.
pm me if you want and give me your address, I might be able to dig out a Horseshoe map either here at my home, or at our cabin at Horseshoe.
I lived at Horseshoe for a few years. When you start trying to get to fish at Porter's start buying lottery tickets too.:D:D
Fortunately for me, my family and I did alot of vehicle business with DL Williams who is the farm manager for Mcgee and who also oversees Porter Lake.Quote:
