Jobs in Springfield

Missiouri anglers. I am an old country boy from southern Illinois stuck in Atlanta Ga. My wife and I are fed up. My wife is very lucky since she was able to retire this past year. I on the other hand still have to work. Im just one of these old factory grunts who has spent his entire life in manufacturing. We are planning on putting the house up for sale this spring and moving to the Springfield area. If anyone heres of any jobs open please let me know. I am really looking forward to meeting some of you guys as soon as we get moved. Thanks.

I saw on the news Kraft is adding 40 new production positions here in Springfield.

I`m from the north end of the state and dont knowmuch about springfield, but whatever you do if you hear of a job you might be interested in you better not waste any time applying for it, cuz with todays economy there will be lots of competition. I`m hearing that the jobs that were open 5 years ago that was getting very few people applying for are getting double and triple the amount of apps for now days for that same job.

when you move here and see how awsome the huntin and fishin is your gonna make your wife get a job anyway so you`ll have more time to hunt and fish:D:D

I would say the best thing to do is when you get up to Springfield is to hook up with a Temp hire place because from my past expericence all your factorys hire though them. The reason I know is because I'am retired from one of those co. and thats how they hired. I've never went without a job in Springfield if I was willing to work a job starting at the bottom.

Just want to say thank you to the responders. Only down to earth crappie fisherman would help a stranger out.

Fuzzy, Im just an old factory grunt. Worked for a place called Bunny bread for 14 years. Worked in automotive parts. Now working for Wrigleys chewing gum in Atlanta Ga.
