Yesterdays Catch
The crappie werent biting but these big boys were! These were all caught on an ultralite with 6lb test and on #6 sickles. All were on a firetiger ultra head. It was the only firetiger I had with me... I was so scared I was going to break it off. The smallest is 3.5lbs and the largest was 4.9lbs! I finally caught one crappie right at dark but the bass kept nailing that little 2" minnow. So I stayed well after dark until the last bass broke my pole when I was fumbling around trying to lip the dang thing.

Fun isnt the word! Notice how those bigger ones posed nice and still for the pic! It was cuz they were woe out! Had to take my time with those suckers. Then look at my ring finger in the 4th pic... Guess i was clenching the rod too tight! Took forever to get the circulation back.
