Transducer help??

I am fixing to mount my new transducer for my 797. This how it currently is mounted and I am getting a bunch of spray up from it at around 10 mph and faster. The way the transom is designed I am unsure if it needs to go up or down. It is on a WarEagle 2060. Thanks for your input. http://i393.photobucket.com/albums/p...slab/td001.jpg
