there was a thread on here about mixing paint, but you could check with Cadman a member here he buys the stuff by the pound and may be able to help you.

Mix colors all the time – before PP got popular – you had to mix your own colors. The majority of paint on my jigs are custom mixes.
A “color wheel” is a great help and you can get that at any art store. Take notes - easier said than done – but helpful.
I do that all the time. A color wheel as started will get you starter for example...green + yellow = chartreuse; blue + yellow = green, red + blue = purple; red + yellow = orange; black + white = gray... etc.
I prefer not to mix my paint because it takes too much paint.
I prefer to layer different colors in coats on my jigs to make unique colors, for example... Saphire blue over a hot pink base coat makes purple with blue glitter sparkles. A color wheel could come in handy for this too, but I use the old "trial and error" method.
CJ ,
I mix colors all the time as well. There is no problem in doing that. Like LedHed said that is what you had to do in the past before all the plethora of colors that exist now. Also I have mixed many different types of powders with many different types of brand and never had an issue. One thing you will find is when you do this, you will come up with some really custom colors that will separate your jigs from everyone elses. This will make your jigs stand out from the crowd.
I mix all my own colors.A little of this and a little of that, lol.
