I am wanting to go wireless to get rid of the long cord and foot control on my boat, so I can run it from the back and my wife can sit up front and catch fish. neither the Minn Kota PowerdriveV2 or the Motorguide Wireless has very good reviews I just wanted to see if any of ya'll have either one and how do you like it or is it ever worth it. Thanks
I have a PD with co-pilot, love it I can steer and control speed from anywhere in the boat best part is NO wires to trip over.
I have a hand control with an 18 ft cord on it so I can run it from anywhere in my boat. I rarely use it anywhere except in the front on the boat, but when I do, I just run the cord down the side where it is out of my way. It has the rheostat in it so you can precisely dial whatever speed you want to be at. I had a very hard time doing that with my foot pedal and/or my co-pilot. This is what it looks like:
