from a VERY DEAR friend. Seems he had a post, well has had more than one deleted off of here. I haven't read the post because it was deleted but I do know it was sent via PM and Email to SEVERAL members on here and they saw no problem with it. Enlighten me G-3, what was it exactly that made you delete it. This problem will cause way more than 1 person to leave this board. Several are talking about it right now. There weren't any cuss words in it. Just something about chili.
No cuss words...it was in fact a funny story. It was the subject matter...which was about something else besides chili. I made a judgement call and thought it was inappropriate for a family oriented site.
I also deleted a thread Crappie Cowboy made this morning because of the same reason.
ANYTIME you delete a post, please send that person a PM and let them know why you did it. I've had 1 post deleted on here and Patrick was nice enough to explain why he did it. If someone gets something deleted, it's nice to know WHY it's done
I sent Torch A PM and told him that I was sorry and tried to explain. Now for the rest of you....this is what happened and why. Ed wants a family oriened thing here....nothing that kids shouldn't read or see. I have cut a lot of slack and let lots and lots of stuff go. But this morning I come on and Crappie Cowboy has a post about shoving viagras up his rectum and getting his finger stinky and then picking his nose etc. I thought that was just a little too much so I deleted it. Then not long later here comes Torch with a very funny story about eating chili, and farting and blowing poo all over etc. I thought Wow...if I don't delete Torches post I am gonna really catch it for deleteing Cowboys. Remember now I did not delete the one Torch made awhile back about the guy pooping in his boat on the decoy and them throwing the decoy in the water and shooting it and blowing poo all over the boat. It may just be me but I think that we don't need to be talking about shoving stuff up rectums and pooping etc. So I drew a line. OK...The threads are soft deleted and they can be put back up and I have asked Ed to decide whether to leave them like they are or put them back up. There was nothing personal in me deleteing the threads. I really think the board looks better for Mississippi without them....but thats just me. It may be time for me to vacate C.c as it appears that nobody seems to understand or maybe I don't understand...whatever.

Come on now DD, that wasn't fair. Agree or disagree, he's explaining where he was coming from.
He made a judgement call, afterall, and it sounds reasonable to me. Maybe I don't agree, but maybe I would have in his shoes. Ya can't please everybody, so you just have to do the best you can.
