that's funny! i had a roommate whose uncle chewed gum and always swallowed it. eventually he got a tummy-ache that wouldn't go away and they surgically removed a 5 pound wad of gum. doc told him to not swallow his gum anymore...

That explains it, I'd always thought they were trying to hatch those things.
